Alexandria (Lex) is the Founder, Owner, and Lead Artist of Black Hills Brows, as well as the creator of her personal brand, LXCOSMETX.
With over 7 years of hands-on experience and 9 professional certifications, Lex has established herself as a leading expert in permanent makeup and esthetics throughout the Black Hills and South Dakota statewide.
After graduating from Headlines Academy for Esthetics in 2017, Lex pursued advanced cosmetic tattoo training nationwide—earning certifications in Microblading, Ombre Brows, Nano Brows, Lip Blush, Eyeliner, and more. Her dedication to growth and education led her to collaborate with well known artists around the US and bring the most innovative techniques, like Nano Brows, back to her team in South Dakota.
In 2022, Lex opened her own studio space where she not only continues to offer her signature PMU and esthetic services but also trains and mentors new artists in the industry. Known for her precision, professionalism, and meticulous artistry, Lex combines technical expertise with a personalized approach—helping clients look and feel their best with results that are both natural and elevated.

Amethyst joined the Black Hills Brows team in May 2023 and is an Esthetician and PMU Artist.
A graduate of TSPA Rapid City, she quickly advanced her training by becoming certified in Brow Threading—and is currently the only threading artist in Rapid City and the Black Hills region. Amethyst also completed her Microblading certification through BHB and is now apprenticing under Lead Artist Lex to master Ombré Brows. She has branded her name as ESTHETICS BY AMETHYST.
She offers brow, lash, waxing, microblading, and Ombré services, all with a personalized touch and bubbly personality. Outside the studio, Amethyst enjoys live music, sunshine, movie nights, and time with her family—including her son, husband, and their beloved fluffy dog.

She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School with a focus in Esthetics in 2024 and brings a genuine passion for the beauty industry to her role. Brooke is the friendly voice behind appointment bookings, client communication, and day-to-day coordination—making her an essential part of the BHB experience.
Outside of the studio, Brooke, enjoys streaming on Twitch and expressing herself through bold, artistic makeup looks. Her blend of professionalism and personality makes her a standout presence both at the front desk and beyond.
